Recipe makes around 16 cupcakes
Ingredients:
150 g butter
1 tsp vanilla powcder
1 tsp coffee powder
2 dl warm water
3 dl milk
2 eggs
6 dl flour
2 dl cocao
3 ½ tsp baking powder
5 dl sugar
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees c
Melt the butter and add the vanilla powder, coffee powder, water, milk and eggs
Stir and mic in the dry ingredients, flour, cacao powder, baking powder and sugar
Mix everything into a smooth batter
Fill the muffin tins to ⅔ and bake in the middle of the oven for about 15-20 mins.
Salted caramel sauce:
2 dl sugar
1 dl heavy cream (room temperature
50 g butter (room temperature
1 tsp salt
Instructions:
Combine sugar and heavy crean in a saucepan on medium heat
When the sugar has dissolved add the butter and bring the mixture to a boil, sllow the mixture to golden and add some salt
Frosting:
100 g chocolate
150 g butter (room temperature
Instructions:
Whisk the butter until it's fluffy
Melt the chocolate in a heat resistant bowl over a water bath and once it has cooled down, Whisk it together with the butter
