The Perfect Pancake Cake

   

Pancakes

3 dl flour

3 eggs

6 dl milk

2  tbsp melted butter

1 tsp sugar

A pinch of salt

 

Filling

4-5 dl whipped cream

Strawberry jam

Mix flour, eggs & half of the milk to a smooth consistancy. Add the rest of the milk, melted butter, sugar and salt. Let the batter rest for 20 min. Preheat a pan on medium-high heat and swirl some butter around it.

 

When the pan is hot pour some of the batter on and quickly swirl the pan around so the batter spreads evenly. The perfect time to flip the pancake is when the top of the pancake isn´t liquid and less shiny.

 

Assable your cake by folding each pancake in the middle two times making them look like 1/4 of a cirkel. For each layer lay 4 pancakes so they make a full cirkel. Put your filling in between each layer.

 

Decorate with strawberry jam, whipped cream and fresh berries & there you have your perfect pancake cake!
